Abstract

The article analyses the results of prosthetic operations of larger postoperative ventral hernias in 30 patients. The authors have used polypropylene mesh manu-factured by Lintex (St. Petersburg) as implants. During 6-years supervision the cases of recurrence hernias were detected in 9.6% of patients. In order to facilitate laparo-tomy in case of necessary reoperations the authors have developed a method of hernioplasty with abdomen white line reconstruction using autologous tissues.
